I don’t always cook, but when I do………

I cross my fingers, make sure the fire extinguisher is near and then I pray….

Ok it’s not that bad but I have never enjoyed cooking. It’s really not my thing….at all! My mom is a master chef (not really but in my mind she is). My hubs had a disclaimer before we got married that I don’t cook or should I say I will but it’s gotta be under 5 ingredients and go in a crock pot. I just don’t enjoy it; however, I do try to make new things that my hubs and kiddo like. I am a creature of habit so I have my 3-4 recipes that are my go to. We eat chicken so much we should be chickens so here’s my chicken recipe that is quick and easy and I’ve made it three times and it’s been DELICIOUS every time!

What your you’ll need…. 2 eggs in small bowl
3-4 chicken breasts
1/4 cup flour
2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder (I’ll be honest we used almost 2 tsps of garlic salt and it was perfect)
1/2 tsp salt and pepper
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (I addd a tad more as well)
1/4 cup melted butter
.
.
➡️Spray a 9×13 pan with cooking spray
➡️mix all the dry ingredients together and stir in medium bowl
➡️wash chicken, dip it in eggs and then in dry mix. Make sure it’s all covered then slap it in the your 9×13
➡️drizzle the butter over the chicken and throw it in the oven at 400 degrees for 45-50 mins…..mine turned out the best at 395 degrees for 35 mins and it was perfect but each oven is different. ➡️I checked my chicken with a meat thermometer to make sure it was at 180 and I also cut into one breast to make sure juices run clear
➡️now it’s time to eat and then do dishes….ugh…. Read more…
