So this is real life today…..I have a young, local mom come once a week and help with laundry, dishes, mopping and other small tasks that I frankly don’t enjoy. We don’t have a huge budget for this but it helps me stay sane and it is a real blessing to her as a stay at home mom. .

So this picture is less than 24 hours after she cleaned. Ugh! Life with a 2 1/2 year old boy never ever gets old, nor is it boring. Today he was crazy busy and got out just about every toy we have in the house. .

I won’t lie it’s a tad stressful being a high type A, but this kid is worth it. He’s fun. Strike that he’s freakin hilarious. He’s got such a kind heart and he’s always making me smile so every day this mess is here I’m learning to care less and less and focus more on the sheer joy in my life. We waited years for this child and we are so blessed. .
