I. Love. This. Dog. He was so not the dog I really wanted. We wanted a big drooly monster like a #stbernard #newfoundland or #swissmountaindog None of the large breed rescues would even talk to us because we had a one year old kiddo. Hello peeps, big dogs are the best with kids plus we have years of dog rescue and training AND a huge fenced backyard. .

So after we looked for months and struck out we found this guy. He was six months old and super quiet in the midst of a huge, busy outdoor event. I knew the moment they pulled him from the crate he was the one. Turns out he’s a lab hound mix. I don’t do hounds. They are amazing but just not terribly fitting for my lifestyle; however, he’s been the best dog. He’s crazy and weird but man he loves our kiddo. This month is his 2nd birthday! ⛄️⛄️.
